Tango Downtown offers classes in The Essentials of Argentine Tango, technique classes for all experience levels, incorporating insights into the music, dance, and etiquette of Milonguero Style social dancing.

Classes are held Monday evenings in the Theater Studio at the Harwood Art Center, 1114 7th Street NW (at Mountain Road), in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Entrance is by the northside parking lot basement stairs. Classes are ongoing (you may join us at any time), but as we take occasional breaks during the year, please contact us prior to attending your first class. More info on Group & Private Classes.

Corazón Tanguero, a radio program devoted to Argentine Tango, is on the air 1st & 3rd Mondays on KUNM (89.9 FM), 7:30-8:00pm. Hosted by Jenny DeBouzek.


Tango Festival Albuquerque

August 28 - September 1, 2008, the 8th Annual Denver Tango Festival has moved to Albuquerque this year! A Tango festival "By Dancers; For Dancers" features non-stop parties for all tango dancers who love the social style of tango popular in the milongas of Buenos Aires: close, subtle & romantic.
