Robert Hauk

Robert Hauk is a popular U.S. teacher, DJ & dancer, whose November 2004-2006 workshops with Tango Downtown were very enthuastically received. Robert credits Susana Miller as his most important teacher, and hosts her each year in Portland, Oregon during her annual U.S. tour. He also organizes workshops for Alicia Pons and Cacho Dante in Washington State, and hosts a popular weekly class and milonga in Portland. Robert is regularly invited to DJ and/or teach at social-tango festival weekends around the country. He frequently teaches with Barbara Durr of Atlanta at the Milonguero Festivals in Denver & other social-tango festivals. Robert has made several trips to Buenos Aires to study and dance, and has coordinated group tours there, guiding U.S. dancers in their enjoyment of the milongas and culture of that city.
